Don’t be unprepared when (not if) a disaster strikes! The principal objective of this disaster recovery program is to develop, test, and document a well-structured and easily understood plan which will help the organization to recover as quickly and effectively as possible from an unforeseen disaster or emergency which interrupts information systems and business operations. Definitions of our policies and procedures for technology disaster recovery, as well as our process-level plans for recovering critical technology platforms and telecommunications infrastructure will be covered. This is a two-session course that will meet at the same time and day on consecutive weeks, and there will be homework to complete between sessions.

Goals of this course include:

• Ensuring that all employees fully understand their duties in implementing such a plan
• Ensuring that operational policies are adhered to within all planned activities
• Ensuring that the proposed contingency arrangements are cost-effective
